Brian G. Kapp - Vocalist, Pianist, and Organist.

Biography

Brian is a native of central and southern Illinois. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Keyboard) from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Edwarsville, IL and a Master of Arts in Liturgical Music (Voice) from St. John's University in Collegeville, MN. As a pastoral musician, Brian has served in many capacities across both Southern Illinois and Minnesota. Throughout his educational and professional careers, he has had extensive experience in choral direction, vocal and keyboard pedagogy, chant interpretation, composition and arrangement, and many other areas pertaining to music. Along with his work in several parishes, he has also recorded three Gregorian chant albums as a featured soloist through GIA and Milan Records. Along with keeping a vibrant private studio of piano, organ, and voice students, he currently serves at St. Michael's Parish in Duluth, MN as the Director of Music and as Dean of the Arrowhead chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
